90 Day Fiancé: Kenny Grills Sumit’s Family For Being Cruel To Jenny

Kenneth Niedermeier didn’t hold himself back when blasting Sumit Singh’s family for the way they’ve treated their son and Jenny Slatten for a decade during the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Tell-All. Kenny is an absolute fan-favorite amongst the 90 Day Fiancé community of viewers and cast members alike since his TOW season 2 debut alongside husband Armando Rubio. The couple is applauded for radiating positivity and tackling their relationship troubles with ease without getting into any scandals like their co-stars. On the other hand, Jenny and Sumit’s lives have only been full of ups and downs, largely due to his mom Sadhna, which is why they’ve even hidden the fact they are now married.

Jenny and Sumit have been a staple of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way since season 1 after having first met in 2011 via Facebook. Due to Jenny’s age, Sadhna and Sumit’s dad Anil objected to her relationship with Sumit from when she came to stay in their house in 2013. Interestingly, Jenny claims Sadhna was pretty much okay with her marrying Sumit back then as long as it happened in America, but Jenny had money problems. Sumit is suspected to spill the beans about his marriage with Jenny to his parents during the Tell-All, and luckily, Kenny has his back

A preview for the upcoming 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way episode shared by Us Weekly starts off with Kenny noting how Sumit’s parents, especially his mom, have tried every trick in the book to break his relationship. “And after ten years, it has not done it. He’s even gotten married… to someone else, and it almost gets to the point of cruelty for them,” Kenny adds. However, Sumit’s sister-in-law Shree blames it on the “generation gap” and claims that no parents can ever “be cruel to their children.” When Kenny mutters that he disagrees, Shree insists that “everything needs time. It just cannot happen [in] one night.” Kenny claims that what Sumit’s family has done is the “definition of cruel” since they’ve invested ten years into stopping his relationship with Jenny.

Meanwhile, 90 Day Fiancé host Shaun Robinson asks Sadhna and Anil what their reaction would be if Sumit and Jenny were to suddenly get married. “Why do you need the acceptance of the certificate of marriage? You people have to live together, and you’re living together. That’s all,” explains Sumit’s father. He questions Sumit and Jenny about why they’re so anxious to get married. “Because we love each other, that’s why,” Jenny argues. Then, Kenny asks if Sumit’s brother Amit would have gotten married to Shree if his parents were against it. Amit claims he wouldn’t have wed Shree in that case. Obviously, she is dumbstruck, and Kenny has the perfect mic-drop moment when he points out, “that’s why you put yourself in someone else’s shoes.

The preview for the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Tell-All ends with Shaun asking Sumit to come clean about his marriage to his parents. However, Sumit hesitates and makes all the cast members awkward as he refuses to get to the point. It’s difficult to tell if Sumit confesses the truth to Anil and Sadhna during the reunion. Rumors suggest Sumit and Jenny have been roped in for a new spin-off. Perhaps viewers will have to wait for the Tell-All of that season to see Sumit take a stand against his parents.
