90 Day Fiancé star Nicole Nafziger confessed why she tricks Instagram with links in bio posts after being called out by Cassia Tavares overusing her ex Jason Hitch’s death for clickbait. Nicole, who was last seen on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 4 with Moroccan man Azan Tefou has found herself a unique job. The former barista has been infamously hoodwinking her 668k plus followers into clicking suspicious-looking links on her IG profile. She teases articles about being pregnant or Azan being dead.
In the past few months, Nicole has also leeched off 90 Day Fiancé co-star Angela Deem’s weight loss surgery and Ron Gibbs’ illness to make a quick buck. But Cassia was the one who finally confronted her, and made Nicole explain the clickbait posts on her profile. Florida resident Jason, from 90 Day Fiancé season 2 breathed his last on Tuesday due to COVID-19 complications. Fans scrolled through their Instagram feeds to see almost everyone talking about Jason’s death. But one of the posts was from Nicole who cunningly used a photo of herself and her ex Azan captioned, “#RIP Heartbroken to confirm he DIED #LinkInBio.”
The company Nicole works for doesn’t always tell her the nature of the posts. “But of course that is no excuse,” she admitted. Nicole said that she’s “saddened by the news of Jason.” She then reached out to Jason’s loved ones and Cassia and tagged her to “deeply apologize” for having posted the “tragic news in this way.” A screenshot of Nicole’s story was also shared by 90 Day Fiancé blogger John Yates on his Instagram. He explained that as someone who used to have clickbait, “we have no control over what they post.” John mentioned that the company also takes their login details and posts at will.
Since clickbait has been an issue fans have had with Nicole for the longest time, she should be using this as a wake-up call to make things right. “Yea I stopped working with the click bate company because of stuff like this. Some s**t just ain’t worth the money,” said another 90 Day Fiancé alum Deavan Clegg who was also previously mocked for sharing these false articles on her page. However, fans cannot get over how irresponsible Nicole has been, and willingly giving her password way for “pennies per click” is reckless and something that she should be taking full responsibility for. Fans now want to see how long Nicole goes without sharing shady content, but there are some who are interested in knowing exactly how much she earns to be stooping so low and taking advantage of her fans.
