90 Day Fiancé cast member Stephanie “Stepanka” Matto shocked fans when she started selling her farts in a jar online, but the unusual business venture has now gotten her a mention on The Daily Show. Franchise fans first met popular YouTuber Stephanie in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 4, when she traveled to Australia to meet her then-love interest Erika Owens. Stephanie is currently starring on 90 Day: The Single Life season 2, as is her fellow 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days castmate “Big Ed” Brown.
Stephanie and Erika were the first same-sex couple to be featured on the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. However, the two women didn’t get along very well on-screen and barely showed any affection. When the couple called Stephanie’s mom to tell her that Erika was more than just a friend to her daughter, Stephanie backed out, causing fans to accuse Stephanie of pretending to be bisexual just for the show. Following her appearance on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, Stephanie created her own adult content platform, Unfiltrd. Featuring several of her fellow 90 Day Fiancé stars, Unfiltrd’s success inspired Stephanie to begin selling her jarred farts. In the first week of her new job, Stephanie made nearly $50,000.
Stephanie recently revealed on her Instagram stories that she was mentioned on The Daily Show because of her fart-selling business. The Czech Republic-born reality star shared a recording of Trevor Noah telling his Daily Show viewers all about how Stephanie has been raking in the big bucks. “Props to her for making that money,” Trevor said, before joking, “I guess if everyone [sold farts], we could solve climate change.” Stephanie explained that she’s shocked that her business is being mentioned on national television. “Glad I could be an inspiration to thousands,” the star said on her IG story.

Although selling farts is definitely the most unusual of her business ventures, Stephanie has been a controversial online persona for quite some time. Not only did she famously recently mention that she pleasures herself to baking shows, but Stephanie has made headlines recently by claiming to be engaged to well-known YouTuber Nik Stone, who discusses 90 Day Fiancé under the moniker of “Your Wet Sock.” Stephanie also revealed recently that she is a former stripper, as well as a published book author. Called “Mean Boys & Memories: A Compilation of My Most Outrageous, Hideous, and Embarrassing Stories,” Stephanie’s book was published in 2015.
Many stars in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise have online hustles, but Stephanie is different. Not only is she the only cast member selling her jarred flatulence (so far), but Stephanie has an autoimmune disease called aplastic anemia that puts her at serious risk if she so much as catches a common cold. Therefore, it makes sense that Stephanie has found creative ways to make money from the safety of her home. It will be interesting to see what the 90 Day: The Single Life star thinks of next.
