90 Day Fiancé: Nicole Shares Struggles With Loneliness In Emotional Post

Although Nicole Nafziger is usually making headlines for her clickbait posts about 90 Day Fiancé cast members, this time around, the single mother had a heartbreaking confession to make. Nicole and Azan Tefou are still one of the most popular couples of the TLC franchise even if it’s been a long time since their exit. Fans had met Nicole as a 24-year-old working as a Starbucks barista and looking after her toddler named May from a previous relationship. While Nicole no longer serves coffee, she does post a lot of fake news including rumors of her being pregnant or Azan being dead on her Instagram to make money. But fans were recently delighted to find out that Nicole had “made a big decision” in her life by enrolling in college.

During 90 Day Fiancé season 4, many fans questioned Nicole’s decision to quit her job and leave her child behind to go meet Azan in Morocco. Meanwhile, Azan wasn’t interested in being with Nicole, was only 55% attracted to her, and often asked her to lose weight. But the plan was for Nicole and Azan, whose K-1 visa was denied, to get married so she could bring him to the United States. The wedding didn’t happen because of Nicole not having the right documents, and it was called the second time when Nicole and Azan decided to open a store with her $6000 instead of having an expensive ceremony. Fans soon found out there was no store but in March 2020, Nicole headed to Morrocco after two years to be with Yazan, and when she returned there were rumors of the 90 Day Fiancé couple calling off their engagement.

In July 2021, Nicole confirmed her split with Yazan and revealed they had ended on good terms. Come September, Nicole delighted her Instagram followers by sharing that she had enrolled at State College of Florida, Manatee–Sarasota (SCF). Back then, Nicole was working on her prereqs to get into the radiology program. In a new Instagram story from Tuesday night, Nicole updated her followers by posting, “school started yesterday. I’m feeling good about this semester.” But along with talking about college, Nicole wanted to “air out” her feelings about feeling alone. “But tonight I got an ache of loneliness,” confessed the Florida resident Nicole. “One day I hope to find my perfect mate, And find my path,” she added.

Nicole shared that she’s “trying to make it through, day by day.” The first semester of going back to school “was more” than what former Twitch streamer Nicole had anticipated. But she’s trying to do things “one step at a time” as her friend has suggested. Nicole remembered how she used to “post things like this all the time” on social media. She thinks it could be a way to share how she’s feeling “so others know that they’re not alone.” Nicole wrote about how she’s been trying to stay positive. “And keep myself out of that dark place we go sometimes,” she added.

Nicole being vulnerable and honest about her feelings on Instagram instead of posting fake news about someone’s death is a welcome change for her 90 Day Fiancé fans. The criticism she’s been getting recently because of her link in bio posts may have also affected Nicole to an extent. Pregnancy and death aren’t things that anyone should joke or lie about, so it was no wonder that thousands of Nicole’s Instagram followers have unfollowed her. However, this new and relatable version of Nicole is one fans don’t mind seeing every once in a while. Here’s hoping Nicole’s search for a caring life partner ends soon and connecting with her fans on a more personal level helps her heal.
